SEQUIN KAY
Sequin Kay is a British contemporary multidisciplinary artist who creates unique and unconventional modern art. Her artworks reveal a personal ritual of self-expression, delicately referencing her cultural heritage. To create is a necessity for the artist and her pieces act as alchemical gateway into the eternal.
The themes she explores within her collections are automatic drawing, transpersonal psychology, shadow work, geometric symbolism and surrealism. Each artwork and collection has layers of research, personal process, healing and background philosophical research, which inform her studio practice and creativity.
International exhibitions of her work include showcases in Galleries in Costa Rica, Miami, Ibiza, Canada, Berlin, Ireland, Spain and Malta. Her artworks have been bought by international private clients and collectors in China, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Malta, Ibiza , UK and London.
